Better Business in Childcare

Welcome to the Better Business in Childcare (BBIC) Website, an online resource dedicated to the childcare sector. If you are involved in the childcare sector, our choice of membership services offer a range of benefits with further discounts on other services and packages.

Our service was initially developed for settings in Gloucestershire but we are delighted to now offer membership services further afield. Please browse our website and feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements in greater detail.... our 0845 number ensures that all calls are classed as a local rate call.

The local marketplace is made up of approximately 550 private, voluntary, governor run and independent childcare settings operating across the County. Additionally there are approximately 550 Childminders and Nannies within the County. Our services are designed with you in mind and we are always willing to listen to your feedback to create new services to help you run a better business.

The BBIC service is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of a sustainable childcare sector.  We employ 4 dedicated Business Advisers who are on hand to support both emerging and existing businesses with advice and guidance:

We also offer a range of practical support, a dedicated telephone Advice Line (0845 838 9965) available Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, training opportunities and events, online resources and bi-monthly newsletters.

As the title suggests, the Better Business in Childcare service is designed to improve the business skills of those managing or running settings.
