BBIC provides a host of tailored business support solutions to meet everyday business needs.  Wherever you are in the business life cycle we have a service designed to give you practical help and guidance. Our support tools have been developed over a number of years and are all delivered by experienced Business Advisers and trainers.

Members - Membership of our website is available at three levels to every Gloucestershire based childcare setting.

We provide many more useful tools and resources in our Members Area. Here we also provide access to our Better Business Survey, useful website links, a forum and a service feedback form.

Telephone Advice Line – Please call 0845 838 9965 to access the dedicated BBIC Advice Line.  The line is open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm throughout the year including school holidays. The Advice Line is open to every childcare setting whether:

  • Voluntary Group
  • Private Setting
  • Independent Setting
  • Governor Run
  • Childminder or Nanny
  • Out of School Club

We provide the first point of contact for general enquiries and more specific requests will be escalated to one of our Business Advisers. 

One to One Business Advice – BBIC has 4 skilled Business Advisers delivering sector specific business advice and guidance, Monday to Friday throughout the year. These advisers can be contacted via the Advice Line or by email to info@betterbusinessinchildcare.co.uk and they have over 30 years experience in the sector.

Training & Events - BBIC arrange and deliver regular skills training workshops and events across the county. Full details, dates and times of all events are contained in the members area of the website.

Website - This website is available for all settings to use and we have a number of useful factsheets available for you to download in our Online Resources area. 

Newsletter - BBIC distributes a bi-monthly newsletter covering topics pertinent to the sector. Members of our website are able to download copies of all previous newsletters.
